What data do we collect?

WUT collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, address, tax identification number)
  • Financial information (business address, business identification number, business phone number, business email address)
  • ITC information (cookie files collecting information: IP address, geoIP address, data related to the version of web application and device used to browse our website, date of usage, activity performed as urls requested by you)

How do we collect your data?

We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online on the conference website,
  • Place an order for any of our products or services online by website, email, or phone call,
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email,
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.

WUT may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • International Society of Transdisciplinary Engineering. ISTE is registered in Nederland Delft with number 71835237 and RSIN number 858868039 on the basis of agreement related to organize the 27th International Conference on Transdisciplinary Engineering (TE2020).

How will we use your data?

WUT collects your data so that we can:

  • Process your registration and orders,
  • Manage your account,
  • Maintain online services,
  • Email you with offers on other products and services we think you might be interested in and which are related to your attendance at the conference in Warsaw.

Upon your agreement, WUT will share your data with the International Society of Transdisciplinary Engineering (ISTE) so that you may be offered their products and services, for example participation in the next conference.

When WUT processes your request or order, it may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases and payments.

How do we store your data?

WUT stores your data using an online IT system which is protected against unauthorized access and which is monitored. Only persons authorized to support conference services have access to the system.

WUT will keep data till the end of the period needed to organize, settle and close all tasks related to the TE2020 conference. Once this time period has expired (however, no longer than the 31st of December 2020), we will delete permanently all your data including additional copies of the data (excluding payment-related data for the period of 5 years).

What are your data protection rights?

WUT would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request WUT for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that WUT correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request WUT to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that WUT erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that WUT restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to WUT processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that WUT transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
